Editor's Picks The holidays-- a great time of year, if for no other reason, than it's socially acceptable to watch A Christmas Story and It's A Wonderful Life twohundred times back to back. So last night, well into the second A Christmas Story and one and a half of It's A Wonderful Life, I started to flip back and forth between the two. And it occured to me--Clarence could have stopped George Bailey from throwing himself into the river if he'd simply convinced him to stick his tongue to one of the frozen lamposts lining the bridge. Ah, what a great angel I'd make!--and an interesting movie twist: "Therry Thistmas ewe ol thuilding n thoan." (That's "Merry Christmas you old building and loan," if George's tongue was just removed from the pole.) So here are some previews so cool...you shouldn't stick your tongue to them. The River Devil This preview has it all--catchy theme music, breathtaking layered video. The book is about a woman forced to "live off her wits" rather than marry an "evil man." I had to live off my wits once, but then it got to be lunchtime, so I went back home. The Fidelity Files Great music, fantastic acting, and some nice voice over work makes this a premier preview. The book is about a service that tracks and and catches cheating spouses, partners, etc.--good holiday fun. January Book Releases
